The CPC and Real World Updates, with Alpha565

 Hello, and welcome to the September 2009 CPCM edition. Not so much has happened in CPC, only that Pan, a former de-modded user, has now received her moderator status back!
Next, September is ending, and you know that deadly virus called H1N1? It’s called “swine flu”, and scientists have found a vaccine for it, so if you are infected with it, you’re in luck!education. I haven’t watched it, but I have HEARD of it. The speech goes to us, because since school started right?

Also, many of you have been wondering what CPTweet is all about. Even I don’t know it too, but the Sep. 2009 will tell you all about it thanks to one of our fellow writers.

Now, there wasn’t much in CPC. But, there was A LOT of things going on in the Real World, right?

Now, what is the first thing that pops out in your head when you think of Kanye West and VMA’s Awards?

If you guessed when Kanye West dissed Taylor Swift at the 2009 VMAs, you guessed right! And if you guys thought of something different, you’re wrong. But, here is the video if you want to see. (Sound is a little loud.)

Kids 9 and under will have to take 2, and kids over 9 will have to only take 1. (Please note that I actually heard this on “Good Morning America” when I was sleeping because I was sick.)

Lastly, if you watch dancing, “Dancing With the Stars” has started its Season 9! I actually still don’t like Season 8, because the finale was rigged to me. But, a lot of new people have joined, so the new season would be a blast!

Now, September has been a “Get Ready” month for me. It has also been a slow month, because not much has happened in both CPC and the Real World.

For most of the CPC community, we were too young too remember this, or never realized it happened because of our different countries, but this article is about September 11th 2001.

What happened was 19 terrorists hijacked a bunch of planes. The most famous plane hijacking is the one that crashed into the World Trades Center. Also known as the Twin Towers. Everybody died in those planes, they were known as suicide bombers. Though no bombs were dropped. Four planes were hijacked by the terrorists. Two of them went into the twin towers, one into the Pentagon in Virginia, and one headed for the white house, was stopped by the plane crew and passengers. It landed in a field instead. Everybody was killed in the planes.

In the end, 2,993 lives were lost. This was the worst day in the USA’s history. Because of this President Bush sent the USA to war with the middle east. The US is still in search of Osama Bin Laden, one of the minds behind the attacks,  but he has not been found yet.

I have chosen Cloe to be user of the month for many reasons. Cloe helps users whenever they need a sig or some help here or there. Congratulations, Cloe.
Signature of the Month: Toastthe
Personally, I think Toast’s sig is one of the most creative sigs I’ve ever seen. Sky added good effects to the squirrel’s fur by adding the blue-green tint. It shows a lot of nature involving in the sig and also looks great. Congratulations, Toast.

 

Best Graphic of the Month: Xooolcat
Cat deserves this award ever since she started making sigs. Cat has also made many sigs and avi’s for herself, and for many other people, too.
Best Post/Thread of the Month: MeMyselfandI and Rachelthe
MMAI and Rachie both deserve the award of Best Thread of the Month. MeMyselfandI and Rachelthe have both showed a good understanding on their tutorials and will help a lot of people who want to know how to edit their profile stuff. And as for MMAI, her tutorial explained a lot and shall help the new people a lot.

Club Penguin Updates with Boss Chappy!

VOLCANO SIGHTED!
Wow, a first ever volcano has been sighted in Club Penguin! It is located in the Ninja hideout, in the background.

To enter the ninja hideout, earn your black belt and beat sensei, and you can access the hideout. The volcano might be part of a new mission, just scenery or maybe something to do with ninjas? Happy77 mentions that ninjas are getting more active lately…Halloween Party coming up!
there is a reference to one of the biggest parties in CP! As you can guess, the HALLOWEEN PARTY!

A catalogue has appeared, full of exciting Halloween costumes, and maybe even a scavenger Halloween hunt like last year? Of course there will be free items for non members! So don’t miss out on the party soon!


CLOTHING CATALOUGE
Yes, the clothing catalogue is here, finally”. Following the theme of Halloween, October’s catalogue will be full of costumes and surprises! Contains mad scientist costumes, even a ladybug outfit!

 

CHOSEN GNOME OUTFIT
As some of you might know, a gnome outfit choice came out some time ago, where you choose between different gnome costumes. And the winner? The first gnome costume!
A play will probably come out soon, featuring this gnome costume

Welcome, to the ClubPenguinCheatMonthly August 2009. Sure It’s a little bit late, but its still august. We’re back! and Here are the updates to all things Club Penguin and ClubPenguinCheat.

Club Penguin Updates and Ratings, August 2009.

 

So what’s new with Club Penguin this month? Well, a lot of things.. unless you’ve been under a rock for the past few weeks then you probably don’t know that the Festival Of Flight is going on from August 14-18!

Obviously, this party has a flight theme. From kites to hot air balloons, almost everything related to flying you can find on the Club Penguin island. The whole island (well except for The Iceberg) is being supported by giant metal propeller caps throughout the island, such as this one on top of The Lighthouse.

To go along with this flight theme, the free item for this party is the green propeller cap. If you haven’t gotten the chance to pick up your free green propeller cap then don’t worry! This item is most likely to come back in the future.

Also, a hot air balloon ride was available strictly to paying Club Penguin members that you cloud find in The Forest. Along with that,

a kite flying station at The Docks, which is available to everyone, is another nice touch to this party. Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did!

~Alpha’s Ratings~

        It’s Alpha here, with my new ratings for all Club Penguin Updates. First, we’ll start with the Festival of Flight.

 

Overall- 7.8/10
This was a whole new party for Club Penguin. I never thought that a party that is flight could never happen. They changed the lighthouse into some kind of propeller cap. Almost every room (besides the Iceberg) was changed into something that has to do with flight. There were free items, such as a green propeller cap, and a new color, which is Aqua, is there, which was voted by you. (If you voted) However, also in my opinion, it was the same color as light blue. Downside.

Free Items- 6/10
Only one free item here! And that is….

Yes, green propeller caps. No difference in here, only that they turned it green. Little downside there, as there is only one free item. If there was another free item, I would bring it probably to an 8, but for now, this is a 6.

Events- 10/10
What’s not to get? It’s a NEW festival for CP, which is the Festival of Flight. Somewhat new free item, a new play, and a whole new experience. (I fell like I’m selling electronics, )
There’s a hot air balloon in the Forest, which you should check out.

Any Downsides? Yes.
In my opinion, almost every CP event has a downside. One of the downside is the free item. Almost everyone has it (except the newbies), and the only diffrence is the color. The other downside is the color. The winner is Aqua, which is similar to Light Blue, so Lavender was more better. Hopefully, there would be more free items.

The Club Penguin Festival of Flight takes an overall review of 7.8 out of 10. In my opinion, it is fun.

Sig Of The Month

 

 

 

This month’s sig of the month was obvious too me. When I saw it I just thought “wow great sig,” its original, unique, and all around nice. But what sig could it be?

That sig was made by Rachelthe. Great job Rachel. Its very original, the effects around the tree frog are very nice, it gives a certain glow. Not to mention the green adds a great effect. As an added bonus, its also a sig our old moderator and friend Xtreme22 would have loved.

 

User Of The Month

 

 

After long and deep thought about the user of the month, I chose Raven Sky. She’s helpful, original, nice, and will try to help you fix your problem if you have one. She’s also a reliable friend.

Club Penguin Updates, With Littlebit913.

Hello and welcome to another edition of Club Penguin Updates! There are many events coming up this week but one of the most important, and probably most anticipated, is Music Jam ’09. If you love music just as much as I do then I’m sure you’re excited for this year’s Music Jam. From July 17-26 you can rock out to some of the best music that Club Penguin has to offer.

 

Don’t forget to skim through this month’s clothing catalog to buy some threads for Music Jam! You’ve to dress to impress for these types of parties, you know? And remember to keep your eyes peeled and look for that free item, it’s got to be somewhere on the island!

This year, Club Penguin has really gone all out to make this party a success. From the decorations throughout the island, to the floor piano in the pool, and to the tastey guitar lick that plays on the Music Jam themed start page, this year’s Music Jam party is sure to be a hit! At the docks, clearly, a stage has been set up for all penguins to rock out. If you look closely you can see the backstage, which is only available if you buy the all-access pass (which is only available to members of course).

If you’re lucky, you just might see the Penguin Band performing a concert somewhere on the island! Bring a friend to the concert and together you can both rock out to the music the Penguin Band plays. Don’t feel bad if you haven’t gotten a chance to meet them… there’s always next year, but then again, next year is a long time from now.

Aside from Music Jam, Club Penguin brought back Ruby and the Ruby to the Stage! Now, I know what you’re thinking… “Why can’t CP get a new play?” Well my fellow CP players, don’t think of it as a negative, but as a positive. So you didn’t get a chance to buy that Grey Fedora the last time Ruby and the Ruby was on stage? Well just your luck! The play came back so now you can buy the Fedora you were dying to get.

Don’t forget to look for the new pin that is coming out this Friday and remember to take a look at the new Better Igloos catalog that also comes out this Friday. Have fun playing and enjoy these new Club Penguin updates!

Club Penguin Updates With Boss Chappy.

Spanish welcomed onto Club Penguin Well, 5/10, because even though there are people speaking Spanish on Club Penguin, it isn’t exactly something fun, is it?

New Club Penguin Fashion Catalogue 8/10. It is great getting new fashions on Club Penguin, and seeing new and never before seen items that your penguin can wear. This months is great, but the only bad thing is some of the clothes aren’t exactly, nice looking.

The Splatter Its quite nice, but boring.

Music Jam party sneak peaks 8/10. The party looks reasonably fun but it also looks a little boring. Not many people are in to music.

Ruby and the Ruby 2/10. Can’t CP think of any new plays? This play has been on for a long time, and is getting pretty boring.
Penguins around the world 7/10. Can be quite fun, but also quite boring.

Penguin Tales writing contest 8/10. We finally get a contest on Club Penguin, writing stories! But not many have time to write a fantastic story, then send it to CP. And you can get frustrated if you spend ages writing, and you lose!

Club Penguin Cheat Updates, With Alpha565.

For the start of the CPCM July 09′, I will talk about the Locked Vaults. The Locked Vaults is a contest hosted by CPC, in which you will win fabulous prizes, such as a toy code, or a 6 month Club Penguin membership. The winner will select 1 vault, 2 having a toy code, while 1 will have a membership.

Now, I will talk about mods being demodded. I don’t know why some mods got demodded, but I do know who got lost their rank. I think that some ex-mods were mad about this, but, it was admins decision.

Probably the most talked about thing happening during CPC, is the Summer Clean Up. The Clean Up is basically locking and deleting threads that were old. However, the downside is that people lost their posts. Like me, I’ve lost 300 posts, because of this. JayZee lost about 2000 posts. But this is for CPC. As eduardo always says,

So, the people who lost their posts, regain them. It may be a lot of work, but its the quality you need.

Currently, one of our best mods, have left us. His name is Toby877. That shocked me because I met him in the old CPC and he was a good mod. Well, we hope him good luck.

                       Club Penguin Updates ~By LittleBit913

I’m sure many people have been wondering, “When will Club Penguin get updated?” Well look no further because here are a few quick descriptions of the CP updates that the Club Penguin staff have recently added.

Most of these updates are related to the actual paying members of Club Penguin. For example, the flags that have been added to a member’s badge on their user card determines how long you have been a CP member.

 

In addition there is also a badge with all three color flags plus a star on them. Having that badge means that you are a very, very old penguin.

Another recent Club Penguin update is the catalogs for games such as Hydro Hopper and Surf’s Up. In these catalogs you can put different items that may improve your performance during a game.

This update is probably annoying for most non-members: The “Oops!” pop-up. This pop-up, well… pops up when a non-member tries to buy member clothing or go to a room which is for members only.

This pop-up was here before, but now it contains a member badge glistening with it’s “member-y” glory. Is it CP trying to entice young children to get their parents to pay money just to become a member? Or did CP simply needed to make that pop-up look more stylish? You make the call.

 

Next Up, I’m sure many of us look foward to the monthly parties on Club Penguin. Some are hits, other are misses. This year’s Adventure Party is sure to be a hit. From June 12- June 16 your penguin can go on a wild adventure throughout Club Penguin exploring and interacting with your surroundings.

The decoration of each room is very cool and I guess you can say, wild. The decorations have to be the best part of this party. Here’s a pic of what the Night Club and Dock looks like. Very native and island-ish!

The adventure hunt is also an edition to this year’s party. Making your way through the jungles of Club Penguin, looking for whatevers on the adventure hunt list is a must if you want to claim the prize!

In conclusion, those were the Club Penguin updates that have been added. It’s entirely based on your opinion wether or not you like these updates. Just think about what kinds of different updates CP will have instore for us in the future.

                                Alpha565′s Ratings of the CP Party.

The adventure party receives a 5/10. The free items are: a green safari hat and a parrot. The items were very hard to find, as I spent nearly 10 minutes trying to find it with NO answers.

However, the major fluke of the party was the prize. After collecting all the items, your prize is a background. I was expecting something else like another hat or a whip, but instead, I got a background. So, in my opinion, this was one of the worst party thanks to the prize. Again, the party receives an overall review of 5/10.

· When you get 500 posts, you get to have a signature.
· Signature sizes may not be over 400×300 pixels. (400 width x 300 height) and can’t have more than 3 lines of text.

~Club Penguin Cheat will soon have bigger new updates like:
· Shops!
· Credits (soon to be updated, and ready to use!)
· New summer moderators and moderator clean-up will begin this summer!

“Don’t get me wrong CPC has great sigs. I was looking for one that was great by itself. I saw lots of great sigs. It was very hard to choose. In the end of a long decision I saw one sig that stood out to me. It belonged to You Know Who, who is also known as Haley. Her sig shown below is a great work of art. It shows time, and effort, and very good. Its very mysterious.

In the end, Haley has shown her sig to be good. No offense to any of you, theres always next issue of CPCM.”

“The next is best post. I had very little trouble doing this. Please don’t yell about it not having to do with cheats, that could be in the next issue. Well I was looking around and saw a lot of good posts.

The one that really stood out for me was Cloe’s post about the users opinion about our own CPC. Could be one of the best posts ever. She asked for opinon, showed us hers, and showed we could improve. It showed organization, style, orignianallity and best of all it wasn’t copied.

This award should definitely go to Cloe. She made one of the biggest, most detailed rants EVER. It was thanks to her that many users got to keep their signature rights. Good Job Cloe!

And Finnaly, I would like to give an award, to a moderator who has been doing ONE HELL of a job around CPC.

Fred The Cat.

You have been doing an amazing job. You get overlooked way too much, but you stand out by going down to the user level, and act like a user. Advice from Xtreme22, That I think all of us,  including myself, should have followed a bit more. Good Job Fred, Keep up the great work. .
